Voicebot at Lafarge frees up recruiters’ time
Lafarge is an international construction company with its roots in France, operating for over 190 years (since 1833). Since 2015, it has been part of the LafargeHolcim group. Lafarge has been operating in Poland since 1995 and has over 60 production plants in our country, including cement plants, mines, aggregate reloading plants and concrete plants. The Polish branch of Lafarge employs 1,800 people and is based in Warsaw.
Challenge
Due to the dynamic development of the company and the need to hire new employees, Lafarge recruiters spent a lot of time calling candidates and arranging meetings. The organization was searching for a solution that would relieve recruiters and speed up and shorten the recruitment process.
Solution
The company decided to use a recruitment voicebot whose task is to call applicants and arrange meetings with the recruiter. “9 out of 10 candidates talk to the voicebot, and 1 out of 3 decide to make an appointment. I receive signals that it is convenient because there are several dates and times to choose from” – says Anna Kochańska, Junior Recruitment and Employer Branding Specialist at Lafarge. Voicebot freed recruiters at Lafarge from this tedious duty, providing more time for conversations and building relationships with candidates.
